Compass Box No Name 2No Name no2 is a riff on the black as pitch original, released to much acclaim in 2017. Still very smoky indeed, the overall style is more refined. Like the Compass Box No Name No 1, the Compass Box No Name No 2 is a blended malt Scotch. It is made up of the following whisky: 75% from Caol Ila (Refill Sherry casks) 10. 5% from Talisker (re charred American oak hogshead) 13. 5% Clynishlish (re charred American oak hogshead) 0. 5% Highland malt blend

This is one of the purest Glenlivet's available today

with plenty of vanilla

There’s even a pair of elegant glasses

On the nose there is a slightly maritime peat

A single cask release

This whisky was created by blending the highly sought-after “ghost” whiskies from Cambus and Pittyvaich

but that’s personal

Again stewed yellow fruit and some vanilla

This expression was produced using heavily peated barley

reminiscent of the great Flemish still life paintings from the 17th century

the Speyside single malt whisky was bottled at 48% ABV without chill-filtration
