Traces of Water 12Aerial photography documenting the beauty of tidal rivers and structures On certain coastlines, mostly those with a very high tidal range, spectacular sand formations occur when the ocean water recedes. Seen from the air, it quickly becomes clear that the water does not always take the shortest way back. During this process unique characteristics of partially waterways are formed. This results in the formation of some very diverse sand structures

With the extensive reefs surrounding the island

Sand dunes are formed as a result of the Earth's erosional and depositional forces

The often uncharted shores of the island continent offer a unique mix of abstract water colors and tidal patterns

My intention for this series is to especially document the more outside parts of these wetlands
