Dubai Aquarium and under water zoo is in Dubai mall, is the holder of the Guinness world record for the world’s largest Acrylic panel. It is one of the largest tourist attractions in Dubai and one of the largest aquariums in the world. The giant 10 milllion liter tank spreads over 12 million square feets – home for over 33000 aquatic animals and the largest collection of sand tiger shark collection than anywhere.

On the second level of the mall is the Underwater zoo where expert, knowledgeable staff provide you with valuable info on different kinds of marine animals, including giant spider crabs, sea horses, water rats, jellyfish, penguins, and crocodiles. An interactive approach is adopted to educate visitors, especially kids, on the marine life’s sustainability, with its three unique ecological zones: Rainforest, Rocky Shore and Living Ocean. Another highlight of the Underwater Zoo is its exhibits dedicated to creepy crawlies that are categorized into Insect Wall, Wall Mounted Glass Exhibits, Iguana Enclosure, Burmese Python Enclosure, and Tree Snake Enclosure.
